Amal Clooney

Amal Clooney born Amal Ramzi Alamuddin, is a Lebanese-British barrister human rights advocate and philanthropist. She graduated from Oxford University School of Law and New York University School of Law. The length of her professional career has received international praise for her achievements in international law and the field that deals with human rights. The most notable clients she has worked with are various nations, including Armenia which is trying to convince to get the Turkish government to recognize that there was an Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney became engaged to and married American actor George Clooney in 2014 instantly becoming a household name within pop culture. Before that, she was already famous and loved in the legal world as a lawyer who consistently represents her clients effectively and with the success they have achieved. Her work spans from social justice issues and human rights to representing multinational corporations during the negotiation process or litigating cases involving government regulations.
