Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actor who is employed in TV and film is well known for movies such as Rush as well as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Born the only child to Romanian actor Valentin Platareu, Alexandra began her showbiz career in the early years of her life. By the time she turned 16, Alexandra had landed the leading roles in numerous television dramas. Her portrayal of Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, from Downfall (an Oscar-nominated wartime historical film) was both critically and commercially acclaimed. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film that features this stunning actress. Alexandra has been involved in many important projects both locally as well as internationally. Some of these include British biographical film Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon and many more. In addition, she is an official jury member for two festivals: The Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
